Los perros más duros también tienen corazón
Pese a estar acostumbrados a pelear, un vídeo viral demuestra que también les gusta, igual que a cualquier otro perro, jugar y sentirse queridos
Muchos tienen miedo a los conocidos como Perros Potencialmente Peligrosos (PPP) y razón no les falta, porque bajo esas siglas se esconden aquellas razas cuyos ejemplares destacan por su agresividad o resistencia al dolor . Normalmente son empleados como perros de pelea, sin embargo un reciente vídeo que se ha convertido en un fenómeno viral pone de manifiesto que, pese a sus condiciones físicas, no tienen por qué ser violentos.

Detroit Bully Corps (DBC) es una asociación que precisamente se dedica a «lavar la imagen» de estos canes y gracias a su trabajo, muchos perros han conseguido una segunda vida con familias de acogida. Recientemente llegaron a DBC dos ejemplares de PPP, Vitto y Maggy que, pese a estar habituados a pelear, fueron grabados por los miembros de la asociación en una actitud mucho más dócil que la que se les podría presuponer.

These 2 canines have shown the most dignity & define the very soul of my work, my focus & the American Pit Bull Terrier. At one time they were someone's cash register, pitted against other canines & bred for money. Both came to DBC beat to hell & discarded. They both truly had the heart of a champion. They both decided to shed the mental scars of an old life & move forward in a world that had given them every reason to throw in the towel. Some of you have followed the history of both canines, some of you are meeting these 2 for the first time. Both of these canines have shown a true will to thrive & enhance the lives of all they touch-Please enjoy the redemption of 2 canines that have truly defined my personal mission. William J. Efectivamente, Vitto y Maggy protagonizaron una entrañable tarde de juegos, como harían dos perros cualquiera, algo que demuestra que los PPP, pese a sus músculos y aunque parezca que siempre están enfadados, también tienen corazón y necesitan el mismo cariño que el resto de perros.
