19 países compiten en la eliminatoria del jueves 12 de mayo. Sólo diez lograrán la clasificación para la gran final
19 países participarán en la primera semifinal de Eurovisión 2016, que se celebrará en el Globen Arena de Estocolmo el próximo jueves 12 de mayo. Sin embargo, sólo diez lograrán clasificarse para la gran final. Alemania, Italia y Reino Unido votan en esta eliminatoria junto al resto de participantes. Australia, Letonia y Noruega parten como favoritas para la clasificación.
